Customer Review: Great Little Lace-Up Shoe
This is a great little lace-up shoe that has an insole foot measuring guide (removeable) to get the right fit. At this price there is no need to purchase a bigger size to "grow into." I purchased extra pairs to keep at school & day care. Lots of colors to choose from, quick shipping (I ordered standard delivery & got it in 2 days!), and reasonable price. I'll order more as my son's feet grow.


In this article I am going to explain how you can increase your muscular power to slam dunk.

What is muscular power?

Muscular power is the ability for your muscles to exert force in a short burst of time. This can be seen when a pitcher throws, a boxer punches, or when a basketball player slam dunks. Power can be understood as a result of your body's relationship between its strength and speed (power = strength x speed). In order for you to increase your vertical, you have to train in a way that develops your strength and speed together. Plyometrics are exercises that are designed to accomplish this.

How can you develop muscular power?

Plyometric exercises are designed to increase your muscular power. One plyometric exercise that I found effective is bounding. Start out by jogging forward to gain a bit of momentum. With much force, drive your right foot forward using your right arm to help drive your body. When you land, repeat this with your other leg. This exercise can be seen as an exaggerated version of jogging. This is a simple yet effective exercise that can help you to slam dunk.

Important Things to Note:

To increase your muscular power to slam dunk, one of the most important mistakes people make is not having a program tailored to their unique body types. Although plyometrics are effective in increasing your vertical, it is only effective for certain body types. Strength training is a style of exercise that others may benefit even more from depending on their body composition. In order to effectively increase your vertical, you have to train with a program that tailors your exercises to your unique body type. You may be working your butt off but not seeing much results because you were training with the wrong exercises.
